Use the search bar and filters to find the items or modifiers you want to update, or browse by category and modifier group

Pick up to 4 attribute columns to edit at once, or switch to the Catering preset for a fixed set of catering-specific columns

You can choose from Allergens, Dietary Tags, Price, Serving Size, Quantity Unit, Tax Category, Classification, Individually Wrapped, Individually Packaged, and Utensils. Price and catalog images can't be bulk-edited alongside other attributes in the same pass, update those separately.

If you take orders through ezCater, the Catering "preset" loads a fixed set of 9 catering-specific columns and adds AI-assisted suggestions to help you fill them in faster.

Choose the location scope for your edit — this location, all locations, a region, or a custom set of locations

All locations is the recommended default for most changes. Allergens, dietary tags, and catering fields should generally stay the same across all your locations. Stream will warn you if you try to scope one of these fields to a single location instead of all locations.

Select rows with the checkboxes: individual items, whole groups, or everything in view; then edit cells directly or apply one value to your entire selection

Quantity unit and packaging settings (Individually Wrapped, Individually Packaged) apply at the item level, so you can't set different packaging for different sizes of the same item, for example, Half Dozen versus Dozen.

If you're using the Catering preset, click Suggest with AI to pre-fill fields based on your existing menu data

AI can suggest serving size, dietary tags, wrap status, tax category, and quantity unit. Suggested cells appear with a dashed highlight, review each one and approve or reject it before saving. Nothing is applied automatically, and allergens and price are never suggested by AI, you'll always set those yourself. Items with multiple sizes (like Half Dozen and Dozen) appear as separate rows so you can set each size individually, and a progress tracker shows how many items are ready to go.

Click Save to publish your changes

Your updates publish immediately and are pushed automatically to any connected delivery platforms, such as DoorDash and Uber Eats. If you try to leave the Bulk Edit page with unsaved changes, you'll be asked to confirm before they're discarded.
