Using the Bulk Price Editor

Update prices for many items and modifiers at once. Set a markup rule, preview the new prices, then publish — with per-platform targeting and rounding built in.

Written by Gildas Burnel

1. Open the bulk price editor

Go to your menu grid. Select the items and/or modifiers you want to reprice. Choose Price Markup.

2. Set your markup rule

Choose four things:

  • Markup type — a percentage increase, or a fixed amount added to the base price. You can switch between % and $ before entering a value.

  • Rounding — how the new price should round. For example, to the nearest whole number, or to end in .99.

  • Platforms — which connected delivery platforms this markup applies to. You can target specific platforms instead of all of them.

  • Locations — which locations this markup applies to. You can target individual locations, or apply it directly to a region (location group) instead of selecting each location one by one. See Creating a Region & Bulk Editing Locations in the Region for how to set up regions.

You can apply markup to items and modifiers together, in the same pass.

3. Preview your changes

As you adjust the rule, the preview updates live. It shows the resulting price for every selected item and modifier, per platform. Check it before you publish.

4. Publish

Publish once the preview looks right, click "Apply markup". Stream applies the new prices and republishes your menu to the affected delivery platforms.

Large, multi-location updates

When a price adjustment spans many locations, Stream runs it as a managed queue and shows live progress as it works through each location. If any locations don't update successfully, they're clearly reported at the end instead of failing silently, so you know exactly what still needs attention.

Good to know

  • Items and modifiers with an active markup show their current values when you open the editor.

  • You can run separate markups for different platforms instead of one rule for everyone.

  • On mobile, the bulk price panel can't be closed while an update is still applying, so in-progress changes can't be interrupted partway through.
