Editing Your Menu in a Draft and Scheduling a Publish

Edit your menu in a draft without changing what customers see, review your changes, then save the draft, schedule it, or publish it now.

You can edit your menu inside a draft. Your customers keep seeing the live menu while you work, so nothing changes for them until you publish.

How to edit a menu in a draft and publish it

1. On the main screen, click on "Draft mode"

2. Click on "New Draft"

3. Name your new draft, and then select the menu you want to start the draft from or simply create a new blank menu.

2. Edit your items and modifier groups, including bulk actions. Items you change show in a different colour, so you can see what is different from your live menu.

3. Open Review changes to see each change you made. If you do not want to publish a single change, you can leave it out.

4. Choose what to do with the draft: save it for later, schedule a time for it to go live, or publish it now.

Good to know

  • Your customers keep seeing the live menu until the draft is published.

  • Items that sync from your POS stay protected in a draft.

  • You can rename a draft.

  • If you reload the page or close the tab, the draft session ends and any unsaved changes are lost. Save the draft before you leave if you want to keep your work.

Troubleshooting

My changes are gone.

If you reload the page or close the tab, the draft session ends and unsaved changes are lost. Save the draft for later before you leave the page, then make your changes again.

I don't want to publish one of the changes in my draft.

Open Review changes and leave that change out. Then save, schedule or publish the draft.

Something in my draft doesn't work as described.
