DoorDash Error: "Mismatch menu id and store id"

Why your menu publish to DoorDash fails with "INVALID_ARGUMENT: Mismatch menu id and store id," and how to fix it.

Written by Gildas Burnel

What you'll see

When you publish your menu to DoorDash, it fails with an error like this:

DSP_REJECTED — (400) PATCH /marketplace/api/v1/menus/{menu-id} → DoorDash Marketplace API Status Error: "INVALID_ARGUMENT: Mismatch menu id and store id"

This is DoorDash's own error message. We show it exactly as DoorDash returns it so it can be shared with DoorDash Support if needed.

What it means

The menu Stream is trying to update on DoorDash no longer belongs to the DoorDash store connected to your location. This usually happens when the store has been offboarded on DoorDash, so the connection between your Stream location and DoorDash is out of date. Stream may show the DoorDash connection as needing reconnection.

How to fix it

  1. First, disconnect DoorDash from your location, then reconnect it by following How to Connect DoorDash.

  2. If you encounter an error while disconnecting, please reach out to Stream Support at [email protected] with your Stream location name or ID and your DoorDash Store ID, and we'll help get it resolved.

  3. Once reconnected, publish your menu to DoorDash again. Allow 5–10 minutes for it to process.
