If something goes wrong while you connect DoorDash or Uber Eats to Stream, find the text you see below. Each entry explains what it means, what you can do yourself, and when to contact Stream.
To connect, follow How to Connect DoorDash (DoorDash), How to Connect DoorDash Retail (DoorDash Retail) or How to Connect Uber Eats (Uber Eats).
DoorDash
"Cannot pull and upsert menu for current status: ABANDONED"
What you'll see
Connecting or publishing to DoorDash fails with an error like this. It may also show the DoorDash status DoorDash needs reconnection:
DSP_REJECTED: (400) (POST /marketplace/api/v2/store_onboarding/{id}/menus) Doordash Marketplace API Status Error: {"message":"Cannot pull and upsert menu for current status: ABANDONED"}
You may also see Onboarding failure unknown. Please reach out to Stream.
What it means
DoorDash closed the setup (onboarding) for this store. Every publish after that tries to use the closed setup, so you keep seeing the same error. Clicking Retry will not fix it.
One cause we have seen: the store is set up as a retail or grocery store on DoorDash but was connected as a standard restaurant. DoorDash recognises it as retail and closes the restaurant setup within seconds. A retail store connects through DoorDash Retail instead.
What you can do
If the store is a retail or grocery store, connect it through DoorDash Retail. Follow How to Connect DoorDash Retail. Add menu hours first (see Setting & Editing Menu Hours). DoorDash Retail also needs product barcodes (UPCs) on your items.
If the store should be a restaurant, ask DoorDash Support to change the store's type, then connect again with How to Connect DoorDash.
For other causes, fix the problem first (for example, make sure the menu assigned to DoorDash has items and opening hours). Then remove DoorDash from the location (How to Disconnect a 3rd Party Integration) and connect again (How to Connect DoorDash). Allow 5 to 10 minutes, then publish your menu.
What only Stream or DoorDash can do
Only DoorDash can say why it closed the setup.
If you cannot remove the old DoorDash connection, Stream can remove the abandoned setup for you. After that, connect again.
When to contact Stream
Contact Stream if the removal fails, or if the error comes back after you connect again.
Email [email protected] with your Stream location name, the delivery app's store ID, the exact error or status text, and the date and time you saw it.
"DoorDash approval pending" / "Your integration is being processed"
What you'll see
The DoorDash status window shows DoorDash approval pending and Your integration is being processed, and the DoorDash logo is orange.
What it means
DoorDash is still processing the connection. This is normal right after you connect.
What you can do
DoorDash Marketplace: the connection may take 5 to 10 minutes. You can leave the page. If the logo is still orange, wait 5 to 10 minutes, then refresh the page (How to Connect DoorDash).
DoorDash Retail: DoorDash typically takes 2 to 4 weeks to process your catalog and take you fully live. Check back periodically (How to Connect DoorDash Retail).
What only Stream or DoorDash can do
DoorDash decides when the connection is approved. For DoorDash Retail, if the onboarding fails, contact DoorDash Support to unblock it ([email protected] or 855-222-8111).
When to contact Stream
If a DoorDash Marketplace store is still pending after you have waited and refreshed, contact Stream.
Email [email protected] with your Stream location name, the delivery app's store ID, the exact error or status text, and the date and time you saw it.
"Cannot deprovision until onboarding is completed"
What you'll see
You try to remove DoorDash from a location while it is still pending, and Stream shows Cannot deprovision until onboarding is completed.
What it means
DoorDash is still processing the connection, so Stream cannot remove it yet.
What you can do
There is nothing you can do to fix this yourself. Please do not keep retrying the removal.
What only Stream or DoorDash can do
Stream asks DoorDash to close the open request. After DoorDash closes it, you can remove or reconnect DoorDash.
When to contact Stream
Contact Stream when you see this message. We will tell you when you can remove or reconnect DoorDash.
Email [email protected] with your Stream location name, the delivery app's store ID, the exact error or status text, and the date and time you saw it.
"FAILED_PRECONDITION"
What you'll see
A DoorDash connection or publish error that contains FAILED_PRECONDITION.
What it means
This is an error text returned by DoorDash. Stream can look up the details DoorDash reported for your store.
What you can do
There is no fix you can make yourself for this text. Contact Stream with the exact text.
When to contact Stream
Email [email protected] with your Stream location name, the delivery app's store ID, the exact error or status text, and the date and time you saw it.
For other DoorDash messages, see DoorDash Error: "Mismatch menu id and store id" and Why Isn't My Store Showing Up When Connecting DoorDash?.
Uber Eats
"unauthorized" (401) when publishing
What you'll see
Your Uber Eats menu publish fails with MENU_FAILURE_UNKNOWN and an error like this:
(401) (PUT /v2/eats/stores/{store-id}/menus) Uber API Response Error: {"code":"unauthorized","message":"unauthorized"}
What it means
Uber Eats refused Stream's request for this store. The connection can still show as active in Stream. It can mean the Uber account used to connect is not an owner or admin of the store, or that Uber no longer gives Stream access to the store.
What you can do
If another app or POS is connected to the store in Uber, remove its access first (How to remove another app's access to your Uber account).
Reconnect Uber Eats (How to Reconnect a 3rd Party Integration) while signed in to an Uber account that is an owner or admin of the store.
Click Publish All to publish your menu again.
What only Stream or Uber can do
If the error returns after you reconnect, Uber is refusing menu uploads for the store. Reconnecting or publishing again will not change that. Stream raises it with Uber.
When to contact Stream
Contact Stream if the error comes back after you reconnect.
Email [email protected] with your Stream location name, the delivery app's store ID, the exact error or status text, and the date and time you saw it.
