Starting with the 2026.3.5 release, overrides are opt-in when you edit your catalog: changes apply to all locations by default, and creating a location or region override is a separate, explicit choice with its own confirmation. This article covers removing overrides you've already created.
1. Go to your menu page
2. Click on the item that contains overrides.
3. Hover over the triangle with the exclamation symbol.
A message will pop up once you are hovering that says "remove location overrides"
4. Select "Remove location overrides"
5. Click on Save
Leave the default save option selected "save for all locations" - DO NOT select the override save option.
Removing region overrides, and what you'll see when you reset
If you use save-by-region, resetting an item's overrides now also clears any overrides set at the region level, not just the location level.
Before a reset is applied, Stream now lists exactly what's about to be removed, so you can see what will change before you confirm.
If there's nothing to reset, Stream no longer shows a misleading success message, you'll see that there was nothing to remove instead.
