The Audit Log gives you a full history of what's changed in your Stream account — across menus, catalog, pricing, locations, integrations, and dispatch — including both actions your team took and automated actions like POS syncs and menu publishes.
What each entry shows
Every entry is written in plain language (for example, "Changed item price to $5.49" rather than an internal code), with changed values highlighted. Actions that happened together as part of one bulk edit are grouped into a single entry. Each entry includes:
The action taken, and what it affected — an item, menu, category, location, or DSP
Who made the change, or what triggered it — entries are tagged by source: User, System, POS, or DSP, so you can tell a manual edit from an automated sync or a change that came from a delivery platform
The location it happened at
The date and time
The before and after values, for edits
Viewing the Audit Log
Go to Settings > Audit Log.
Click any entry to open its full detail view — action, user or system source, location, affected item(s), timestamp, and the before/after values with changes highlighted.
Filtering and searching
Narrow the log using any combination of:
Date range
User
Action type
Affected target type (Item, Menu, Category, Location, DSP)
You can also search by keyword, which matches the log description or the affected item/entity's name.
Exporting
Export the log to CSV or Excel — the export respects whatever filters or search you currently have applied, and includes all fields shown in the detail view.
