When attempting to add Stream as an integration, it may prompt you that a subscription is required to add. The subscription required is called Restaurant Management Suite.

Toast's Restaurant Management Suite (RMS) is Toast's enterprise-tier product layer, aimed at multi-location and franchise brands rather than single-location restaurants. It bundles things like data and insights, control and support, and integrations to help larger operators manage their businesses at scale.

Specific pieces include:

  • Multi-Location Reporting — letting corporate teams see the whole business at a glance, segment locations, and compare performance across an expanded set of KPIs.

  • Benchmarking — comparing a location's sales/order volume against the aggregate of other Toast restaurants in the region using aggregated data from Toast's network of restaurants, so operators can compare by location radius, day, week, month, and prior period — useful for spotting things like underperforming menu items or pricing opportunities.

  • Partner Integrations + Toast API access — letting operators share data between Toast and 200+ third-party tools, with API access that also lets brands build custom apps.

  • E2EE / P2PE payment security — end-to-end and point-to-point encryption options to meet enterprise-level payment security requirements.

  • Centralized menu/settings management, so IT/ops teams can push changes across many locations at once rather than location-by-location.
