We Do Not Manage Square Printing
To set up your Square POS system to print online orders, follow these steps depending on your device (iPad with Square Stand, Square Register, or Square Terminal). Here’s how to configure printers specifically for online order tickets:
Step-by-Step: Print Online Orders in Square POS
1. Open Square Point of Sale App
On your iPad or Square Register.
2. Go to Settings > Hardware > Printers
Tap “Create Printer Station” or select an existing one.
3. Choose Your Printer
Select the connected Bluetooth, USB, or Ethernet printer.
Supported brands include Epson and Star Micronics.
4. Assign a Printer Station
Name the station (e.g., “Kitchen Printer”).
5. Enable Order Tickets
Toggle on “Print Order Tickets”.
Select “Online Orders” under “Use this printer for”.
6. Select Order Categories (Optional)
You can choose which items print (e.g., Food, Drinks).
Customize by category for kitchen vs. bar printers.
7. Save and Test
Tap Save, then place a test order through your online store (Square Online or integration like DoorDash/UberEats via Stream).
